“I am honored to serve on the Board of Directors for Nickerson-Rossi Dance. With more than 10 years of experience in event strategy, planning, and ex*****on, I have worked across both nonprofit and for-profit organizations, creating events that bring people together and support organizational goals. I currently serve as Senior Special Events Manager at the Palm Springs Art Museum Palm Springs Art Museum , where I oversee fundraising events, donor experiences, and public programs that support the museum’s mission.
Originally from a small town in Virginia, I grew up without access to many of the arts and cultural opportunities that are available in larger communities and cities. Dance programs, major museums, and professional performances were simply not part of my everyday experience. After moving to Salt Lake City, Utah in 2011, I gained a greater appreciation for the role that arts organizations play in a community and the opportunities they create for people of all ages to learn, explore, and connect.
My husband and I relocated to Palm Springs in 2023, and I am excited to bring my professional experience and personal perspective to Nickerson-Rossi Dance. ”
