The Steve Chase Wing is getting a refresh.

After two years, we're saying farewell to Art Foundations, a celebration of Palm Springs Art Museum's rich holdings and some of its most talked-about works.
There's still time to visit the third floor before it temporarily closes on August 9. Take your time, wander slowly, and enjoy one last look before a new rotation of works from the museum's collection opens in September 2026.

We'd love to hear from you. Share your favorite photos of the third floor, send us a message, and tell us what you've enjoyed most about this space over the past two years.

If you love Chef Gabriel Woo as much as we do, you'll want to move fast and secure a seat at his table.

Known for creating some of the desert's most sought-after dining experiences, Chef Woo is bringing that same approach to a new communal dinner series at Livs, his restaurant inside Palm Springs Art Museum.

Each evening pairs art, conversation, and a one-night-only menu inspired by works on view. The first dinner on July 10 is filling quickly. Additional dates will be announced soon.

Today we remember David Hockney (1937โ€“2026).

Palm Springs Art Museum presented "David Hockney: Perspective Should Be Reversed: Prints from the Collections of Jordan D. Schnitzer and His Family Foundation" from November 23, 2024 through March 31, 2025.

Featuring nearly 200 works spanning six decades, the exhibition offered our community an opportunity to experience Hockney's extraordinary vision, innovation, and enduring curiosity.

Through his lifelong experimentation with perspective, photography, printmaking, and digital media, Hockney expanded the possibilities of how we see and represent the world. His work will continue to inspire new ways of looking, thinking, and creating.

Since 2005, Mexico Cityโ€“based artists Francisca Rivero-Lake and Carla Verea have collaborated as Lake Verea, merging their identities as q***r women with experimental photographic techniques to create intimate portraits of architecture. In Moonlight Drawing, the artists transform the exterior of Aluminaire Houseโ„ข into an immersive landscape of light, texture, and reflection. Focusing on the building's aluminum surface, the work invites viewers to experience architecture not as a distant object, but as a space of closeness and discovery, exploring the intersections of light, space, identity, and the built environment.
