Today AILEY celebrates the beautiful life and lasting legacy of Judith Jamison. ❤️

Ms. Jamison gave so much of herself to dance, to AILEY, and to generations of artists and audiences around the world. Through her extraordinary spirit, she made people feel seen.

As a dancer and Artistic Director, she carried forward Alvin Ailey’s vision while helping AILEY grow into a home as she lovingly referred to as "the glass palace" for so many people across the globe.

We are so proud of our girls for their amazing performance at their first competition! They have worked so hard all year long—showing dedication, teamwork, and determination every step of the way. Seeing that hard work pay off with them placing makes it even more special.
No matter the results, watching them grow, support each other, and give it their all is what truly matters. This is only the beginning, and we couldn’t be prouder of the effort, heart, and passion they brought to the floor.
