New work, a little geometry, a little 1960s optimism.

My art buyer called it Disco Ball - I’m going with that.

I’ve been playing with circles, grids and repetition, then pushing the whole thing into something that feels almost dimensional: part Op Art, part architectural screen, part object.

Here it is in two very different worlds: Palm Springs and New York City. Desert light and Manhattan architecture, and somehow it feels at home in both.

Art Walk Provincetown is tonite! I’ll be back at the fabulous new ShowQueen Gallery in the East End Gallery District. Come check it out - see Ptown’s newest art gallery and meet Tom the owner (side photo with me on right) Top photo: husband left, me right. Quite a turn out last Friday and this Memorial Day weekend promises to be very festive.

Tonight - a very exiting moment in the history of Ptown: The curtain rises on Friday, May 15 during the Gallery Stroll from 6:00pm - 9:00pm.  ShowQueen Gallery makes its grand entrance with the “Invited Dress Rehearsal” exhibition — an inaugural soft opening as electric and alive as opening night itself. I have the distinct honor of presenting my Mod City art from Palm Springs in this fabulous new gallery in Provincetown’s East End Gallery District.
