Hello everyone. I hope you are doing well. I'm also hoping some of you might be able to help me. Productions are heating up in this region and I'm looking to update my local crew lists. I would love to hear back from y'all as to your status of working in the Coachella Valley / Joshua Tree areas as a local.

A couple of the prime jobs I've been really needing to fill are local PA's (of course) and licensed COVID COMPLIANCE OFFICERS (CCO's). If you can do these or know of anyone who can, that would be great. I know of only one CCO out here that knows his stuff, but I need more for when there are multiple productions going on. It's best if they production experience, but getting some entry level people is a possibility too.

Plus, I just got a local art department set designer / builder out here placed on a job, and I think one or two HMU's placed. But I need to get more locals to get hired, so if you can help me out, that would be beyond great.

In Praise of the Open Desert...

Not all great desert film locations need be deep canyons, rock spires or craggy mountains. The open desert has a story to tell and a life of it's own.

These images are just some of the grand vistas that bless the Southern California deserts, and most of these are on private land circumventing the hassles that can sometimes come with obtaining permits from state or federal agencies.

Howdy everyone. I've got a commercial heading up to the high desert and they may be asking for PA's on one or more of these days... Oct. 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8. The 6th and 7th are the most probable.
