What a way to finish this festival run. We won best acting duo!!! Could not have done this without my incredible co-star Gregg Daniel. You are amazing. Thank you for jumping in the deep end with me. I can’t wait to work together again. Thank you to our entire team and Michele Ly our director. Stephen Weston for writing something unique and profound. I love you so much!!!

This is 35. This year has been challenging, scary, and unexpected. This birthday looks different. It is my first birthday without my mom. It is filled with a lot of complex emotions. But it is also a reflection on some amazing things like producing a film, starting a production company KoolBnz Productions and winning some awards. It’s also the year I learned about the meaning of being an educator. I’m so proud of what I’ve accomplished this year and excited for what lies ahead. I’m also giving myself space for grief and reflection. I have a lot to learn but I also know how much I have to offer. I enter this next year humbled and excited for what lies ahead.

To Say Goodbye is to Die a Little is going to be premiering at the Golden State Film Festival at the Grauman's Chinese Theatre! If you are around next Tuesday at 9pm you can grab tickets for the RRR block. Tickets are $15. Just scroll all the way to the bottom of the page and look for RRR Block. Link in Bio!!!!
