I think a lot of people don’t recognize how challenging it is to be a Zumba instructor. Most people see us teach an hour class, but there is a behind the scenes that we must juggle. Playlists, choreo, social media, marketing, fitness certifications, building classes, finding songs, etc.
It can also take quite a physical toll on our bodies. Injuries, soreness, muscle fatigue. 🥴 Mind you, this all happening on top of daily life. A lot of us have other jobs, families, bills to pay etc. Being an instructor takes WORK!It’s a huge adjustment on your body and your mind, and after a full day at your job, it’s a mental battle to come home and practice choreography.

It takes blood, sweat, and tears to be in this industry. So at your next Zumba class, give your dedicated instructor a big sweaty hug!!! 😉Because trust me, when you see them dancing, there’s WAY more where that came from!
