Tampa Bay Performing Arts Academy is the place to be if you love to sing, act or dance. Try out your acting skills in one of our musical theater classes, or form your own singing quartet! Need a few vocal lessons before your school talent show or help with your stage presence? TBPAA is beginning its 15th season of Children and Youth Theater in Palm Harbor. We perform all of our productions on our
own in house stage. Our teachers come from a variety of backgrounds and our classes take the youngest beginners (age 5) to the advanced teen (up to 17) and help them develop and enhance their talents. Each year we produce 4-5 Junior/Student Productions and 4-5 Musical Revues. We believe the best teacher is being live on stage in front of a live excited audience. TBPAA has taken groups of students to Atlanta, Georgia to participate in the Junior Theater Festival for over 10 years. Two of our students were selected by Disney to perform Disney's Broadway Junior productions in New York City in front of Grammy and Academy-award winning composer Steven Schwartz (composer of Wicked, Pippin Godspell)! and our Tech Team won first place in the 2020 Festival against 100's of tech teams from around the world. The TBPAA Encore Performance Team brings their talents to the Florida Community. Each year they develop a non-stop high energy show and go on the road. For the past few years they team has performed at Disney Springs, Universal City Walk, The Florida State Fair and the Florida Strawberry Festival. Here at TBPAA, we take great pride in our shows, but our focus is on instilling confidence along with a passion for the performing arts into our students. Instilling that passion comes easily to our teachers (who all have been performers!):
