Months in the making

My largest one of these installations to date

This client leaned in and trusted the overall vision…

The BIG news is that I am designing this entire home

Yup 👍🏼…I put my design hat back on for this one ☝🏼

Custom bespoke everything. All the furniture, lighting, art, textiles and finishes are going to be completely hand made and designed by yours truly

Well round out the finish in November on this, but in the meantime I’ll give sneaky peekaboo’s along the way

She spans over 15’ and stands proud at almost 6’ tall

This client requested textural abstraction of the feeling of landscape. Not too directional, but the “feeling”…then left the rest up to me

6 weeks and 37 tubes of oil paint, many melt downs and self doubt…then she began to emerge

She broke through the barriers of disbelief, and all of the old voices from my past spinning in my head. When she emerged I knew,

This was much more than a commission…this was a test.

This was a sacred process for me internally as well as the sheer magnitude. I suppose it needed to be this big for me to recognize my blind spot. The physical exhaustion and soreness in my muscles made walking an intentional practice in order to finish. This revealed an exercise needed in mindfulness thinking.

It is not important what the final version of her looks like. The disconnection between my clients pure faith in me and my own imposter syndrome is the most valuable pearl in this story

Today’s installation

One of my favorite pieces goes to one of my most soulful clients

Thankful that I’ll be able to visit her and watch her patina

Alain Hirsch Construction 🦺, one of the most prestigious bespoke builders for luxury retail wins the prize 🏆

Grateful and humbled today beyond measure.

Now I’ll get to work on the next one ☝🏼😊😉

Grateful for the entire team installing my sculptures today at UCONN

What a beautiful synergy between people whom have never met in person but have been working together for over 2 years

My eyes simply cannot stay dry today. Way to monumental of a task completed and gratitude beyond measure

LOVED visiting this client again today

My “Superman” painting absolutely found its rightful owner months back

So much fun visiting him again today and definitely more of this feeling to come over the summer months I Promise!

For now…I’ll reveal in his spirit of “I Can Do Anything”
