Taglialatella Galleries will be the next stop for the vaunted WEST tour, an exciting collection of original paintings by British contemporary artist Russell Young. First exhibited at the Modern Art Museum in Shanghai, China - followed by Marfa, TX and Los Angeles, CA - WEST will make its way to Taglialatella’s flagship location in the Chelsea arts district for its New York City debut.

WEST taps into primal instincts and grandiose American dreams. Living and painting on what Young calls the “edge of America,” this body of work looks upon wide open vistas and imagery aimed to expand understandings of freedom, danger, and possibility.

The journey towards these vistas begins in the anamorphic widescreens of Western films that Young watched growing up in Northern England. These fantasies eventually led him to America, where he has roamed ever since, unafraid to embody a land full of contradictions. 

“I am rain, horses, whiskey,
murder, chaos, terror, gasoline,
lust, heartbreak, damnation, love, Hollywood, lost, paranoia, horror, violence, redemption, rattlesnakes, sage, desert, raven, rolling thunder, Hells Angel, cowboys, girls,
rustlers, riot, cold wind,
the Pacific and dust and death and God. West.”

Today we celebrate Vincent Van Gogh’s 167th Birthday! (March, 30 1853 – July, 29 1890) In just over a decade, he created about 2,100 artworks, including around 860 oil paintings and amazingly he was only 37 when he died.

Taglialatella Galleries is excited to announce the launch of the official YouTube channel for Art Legends Minute with gallery founder Dominic Taglialatella. In collaboration with legendary radio host Dick Robinson of Legends Radio, Taglialatella has created a series of colorful, absorbing, anecdotal, informative, and fascinating short stories about legends of art history to enhance the Legends Radio theme that “Legends Loves the Arts.”

Each Art Legends Minute is paired with a correlating song to follow it, chosen by Dom Taglialatella and enjoyed worldwide by the Legends Radio audience via broadcast on the Dick Robinson show on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday between 6:00 and 8:00 pm (usually around 7:40pm). Legends Radio is the largest independent radio station in America with a concentrated audience in Palm Beach County, Florida.

In 1988 Keith Haring created a series of paintings, drawings and prints for a show in Los Angeles entitled “Growing”.
These two works on paper are Trial Proof prints from the Growing series. TPs are uniquely colored versions of print editions, a technique famously used by Haring’s mentor Andy Warhol in order to create various color versions of the same image.
The only time Haring ever made Trial Proofs in his career were for this series.
These two Trial Proof’s just arrived in our New York gallery and are now on display

Last night Jimmy Choo transformed the Palm Beach gallery for an exclusive private event. It started with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, followed by a wonderful dinner in the beautiful Via Bice courtyard, directly in front of the gallery. The Art, the Shoes, the Food, Oh my what a night!

We are excited to share these images of the Palm Beach Gallery. This is the first hanging of the gallery since we were completely renovated and painted over the summer months and best of all, we now have a new expanded exhibition space! This new area gives a “Museum like” feeling and we can’t wait for everyone to explore and discover it for themselves. We are open 10am-6pm, Mon-Sat.

The show may have ended, but the artwork lives on, so if you missed Nancy’s show your in luck! We rehung the gallery in Palm Beach today, keeping one wall just for Mick.
Many of our visitors were enjoying it so much, we had to keep as much up as possible, so come by and see Mick Jagger in person!
And if you’re dining at Bice, you’ll get to enjoy the premiere piece from the show, the very one Nancy put diamond dust on by hand, it’s a show stopper!

Such a great evening last night at the opening exhibition of “Nancy Ellison Unfiltered” in our Palm Beach Gallery!
Nancy and her husband Bill were in attendance along with over 100 guests and Mick Jagger was the main event, with dozens of never before seen photos of Mick from the 70’s & 80’s.
This show will be on display until April 28th. Please stop by and see these amazing photos in person!🙏❤️
