Beach Bash Palm Beach, presented by Lilly Pulitzer is the social highlight of the season! More than 700 guests will descend upon the posh Beach Club on the island which made Lilly Pulitzer an iconic resort wear brand. Decked in their brightest Lilly, guests will enjoy fabulous fashion, colorful cocktails, delectable bites and pulse-quickening entertainmentwhile mixing with young philanthropic leaders from around the globe. Proceeds benefit Palm Beach’s ocean and sea turtle conservation hub the sea turtle hospital at Loggerhead Marinelife Center. Saving sea turtles never looked so good!

As we get ready to squeeze the day at Beach Bash Palm Beach, on Dec. 28, we would like to introduce you to one of our newest patients, named in honor of Lilly Pulitzer's party of the year! Citrus is an adult female loggerhead sea turtle patient that arrived at our sea turtle hospital with chronic debilitation. Upon arrival, radiographs revealed the turtle had an intestinal impaction with a large amount of crab shells. Meet Citrus! Citrus is an adult female loggerhead sea turtle patient. The patient’s bloodwork on arrival indicated anemia and overall poor health due to chronic debilitation. Citrus is underweight, and radiographs revealed an intestinal impaction with a large amount of crab shells. The turtle is receiving fluids and antibiotics, and will be closely monitored by hospital staff with routine bloodwork as she’s being treated.
