What a way to end our first season❤️

Thank you to everyone who joined us and supported the Florida Rock Orchestra. The energy in the room tonight was incredible and we’re so grateful to have such a strong and enthusiastic audience behind us.

Our inaugural season has been a resounding success and we’re just getting started.

We’ll be sharing updates as we begin planning season two and we have some exciting things ahead. We can’t wait to bring you even more in the next chapter.

Big announcement:
We’re going back to the original meaning of “rock.”

For April 19, every instrument in the Florida Rock Orchestra will be replaced with actual rocks.

Percussion: rocks
Strings: rocks
Brass: surprisingly still rocks

Our musicians have been training extensively to master this new medium.

A limited collection of concert-quality rocks will be available for purchase in the lobby.

We’ve decided to make a last minute change to the April 19 concert.

Instead of Top Hits of the 60s, the Florida Rock Orchestra will now be performing a full program of experimental avant-garde whale sounds and interpretive silence.
