I’ve grown a thing!

I walked the garden beds and harvested everything that was ready and I had a bouquet in my hands! It even smells good because of the dill and peppermint sprigs.

I have three 12ft beds and less than half are producing flowers, which makes me very excited for the next few months as more plants reach maturity.

Sweet little first blooms from some of my zinnias and marigolds. ☺️🌼

I get sooooo impatient waiting for my plants to grow big and full and make fabulous flowers on long stems, but honestly I am getting so much joy from these tiny little flowers on short stems. And these are a necessary step on the way to healthy mature plants.

To sum up, I can’t control nature. And I definitely don’t want to. So I should appreciate the journey and the lessons learned along the way.
