Full transformation of the kitchen with just one subtle pattern on the wall ✨

The painted mural was able to balance the composition of windows, cabinets and negative space between the elements. It wraps around 4 wall surfaces and was designed to fit the space perfectly.

Five years ago, I painted my very first paid mural.

It also happened to be my first commercial commission — a tropical feature wall for hashtaghair.de, a barbershop right in the center of Pfaffenhofen, the little Bavarian town in Germany where I lived at the time.

I had no mural portfolio yet. No collection of finished walls to show. Just my art, an idea, and a client who trusted me enough to say yes.

That project became a turning point in my career. It was the wall that helped me realize that murals could become much more than something I simply loved to paint — they could become my profession.

Years later, after moving from Germany to Florida and painting murals for homes and businesses across the state, this first one still feels incredibly special.

And I love that it went on to have a little life of its own — becoming a backdrop for the barbershop’s client photos and appearing in some of my very first business brochures. 😄

Thank you, hashtaghair.de, for taking a chance on me before there was even a portfolio to prove what I could do.

A mural begins long before the first brushstroke—with someone trusting me to paint a place that matters to them.

It might be their home, a room for their child, or a business they’ve spent years bringing to life. Along with their ideas, they bring questions: Will it feel right here? Can I picture it at this scale? How will the painting process fit into my daily life?

Making room for those questions is part of my work.
I listen, develop original concepts, and help clients understand how the artwork will relate to their space. Digital previews—and, for suitable projects, virtual reality—make the design something we can explore together before painting begins.

Then comes the work of bringing it to life, with care for both the artwork and the place around it.

The words in this carousel belong to people who have experienced that process. They offer a view of my work that finished photographs alone can’t show: what it felt like to collaborate, to see an idea take shape, and to welcome the painting into everyday life.

Thank you to everyone who has trusted me with their walls and shared their experience.

Every mural I painted began with a particular place and a possibility I could see within it.

Over the past five years, I’ve painted botanical interiors, underwater worlds, wooded landscapes and rooms that open into imagined universes. Each project has asked something different of me: a change of scale, a new atmosphere, a way to bring several walls into one unfolding composition.

What connects them is how I think about space.

I consider where people enter, where they pause, what the light reveals, and how the painting relates to the materials and forms already around it. A leaf can carry the eye around a corner. A distant grove can introduce depth. An underwater scene can turn a small room into an immersive world.

Nature gives me an endless vocabulary of movement, structure, color and rhythm. The people behind each project give that vocabulary its context.

Every design is original, developed for its setting and painted by hand. Across these different places, I’m exploring how art can become part of the experience of being there.

This collection traces five years of that exploration, from my first commissioned mural in Germany to the homes and businesses I paint today in Florida.

I want encountering art to be as ordinary as sitting down to dinner.
That ambition is what draws me to mural painting. A painting on a wall becomes part of the place we inhabit. We can enjoy it over morning coffee, notice a new detail during a conversation, or find ourselves surrounded by it while exchanging ideas with colleagues.

I’m Jenny Rozalsky, a mural artist and designer based on Florida’s Space Coast. My path has taken me through fine art and architectural design in Russia, landscape architecture in Germany, and years of observing the natural world.

Mural painting truly brought those interests together ✨

I’m fascinated by how a leaf unfolds, how branches frame a landscape, how layers of vegetation create depth. I carry those observations into my paintings, working with the architecture, light and character of each space.

The feeling I seek changes with the place: quiet immersion, wonder, energy, or the joy of feeling connected to nature.

My larger purpose stays consistent. I want art to have a place in everyday life—and to make the places we inhabit more imaginative, personal and alive.

Same space, a whole new feeling 🌿✨

A little before-and-after from Fire + Bloom Coastal Kitchen in Cocoa Beach! Bare walls became a lush, hand-painted tropical backdrop, bringing color, depth, and personality to the restaurant.

I created each original design to work with the architecture and connect with the other murals throughout the space—each wall has its own character, while still feeling part of one flowing composition.

Using modern tools does not make art less real.
In my work, AI helps me create mockups and revisions faster, and VR helps me preview and place designs with greater precision — especially for logos, lettering, multi-wall murals, and large-scale compositions.

That does not replace creativity or craftsmanship. It simply helps me communicate ideas more clearly, reduce guesswork, and create a smoother experience for my clients.

The vision is still mine.
