We have been working hard on a super fun project these last couple of weeks, and we’re finally ready to share the fun with you!

Who’s ready for some STEM and Scales?! 🐍

Introducing Katie the Snake Lady’s STEM Lab Series! We bring the scales and the STEM to you and your students for 5 days of Science Fun! 🔬

Day 1: Exploring the Senses
Day 2: Inside the Scales
Day 3: Invasives & Natives
Day 4: Habitats & Homes
Day 5: Husbandry for Life

Each 1 hour Class Includes:

📅Classes work consecutively and can be scheduled freely throughout the school year. Whether that’s all in one week or spread out through a couple months, we can work with your existing schedule! This class fits right into your existing curriculum and gives kids a unique opportunity to have their education come to life! No AI was used in creating this series and resources will be available upon request.

🛑 SAD NEWS! 🛑

I just heard from west melbourne parks that they have a strict no animals policy for their park. This has never been an issue for us before and we had always been welcomed to the West Melbourne events without issue. Unfortunately, this is beyond what West Melbourn parks can change and is on the city level. I'll be contacting the city parks and rec department to try to get this sorted out. But as for now, the hump day night markets will no longer be on our scheudle. 😢

Even though the real Capt' Noodle and Lady Linguini weren't able to go with me to the indoor Magik and Mythk Festival this time, Katie the Snake Lady still shows up to represent!

It was so much fun to hang out with good friends and to see all the amazing vendors and art that was there! Plus, I made some new friends!

We had a blast at today's Hump Day Market!

While I didn't get many photos of our shenanigans today, I did meet an amazing couple and get to watch Fear Turn into Fascination!

Rick with The Tiki Time Slushie Co. is terrified of snakes. Well, I should say WAS terrified of snakes. He recently decided he needed to face his fear of snakes and move past it. He had a positive experience at gator land already, and today he met Capt' Noodle and Lady Linguini!

He was immediately fascinated with them, and continued to come visit for pets. A couple hours in and Rick was wanting to hold Linguini! How amazing is that! He said 3 months ago he never would have considered going near a snake, and after 60+ years of avoiding them, he was so entranced he couldn't pull himself away from her.

Hopefully next time we can get Holly to say Hi 😆
