When we chill or shake our bones at The Deadhead Ranch at Hummingbird Hollow near Visit Palestine, Texas we love to listen to the Grateful Dead, The Jerry Garcia Band - JGB, Dead & Company as well as Bobby and the Wolf Brothers play covers or join other bands to create musical magic. From Dylan to the Beatles to Clapton to Willie Dixon's Wang Dang Doodle to playing with the National Orchestra at the Kennedy Center, we love it all. That variety is what Being a DeadHead is all about. We found this cover on YouTube from Bob Weir of the Temptations classic "Shakey Ground" that really got us going.

For us at The Deadhead Ranch at Hummingbird Hollow and Grateful Dead Fans everywhere, it's always been about the music and the community. We will not Fadeaway. For Deadheads like us, it's the Grateful Dead Forever. Their cosmic Dark Star jams and a ripple in still waters are in our DNA. So is gathering with members of the Grateful Dead Family Forum⭐️ at our gorgeous 32 acre celebration ranch. Losing members of the Band is never easy, but we'll always cherish our deep connection and unbreakable bond. Their final performances will stay with us for eternity. Rolling Stone Magazin documented those righteous moments. The final trip is everlasting.

Thanks to the bootlegging skills of the Grateful Dead's audience, the last performance by every single departed member has been preserved.

Grateful Dead Fans know the Band has helped Deadheads forge lifelong friendships that we'll cherish and count on forever. All the.while taking us on shared adventures we could have never even imagined. After seeing more than 600 Dead shows, all we can say is, "What a long strange trip it's been". We started Being a DeadHead in 1973 just after Pigpen died. Always regretted missing his blues and passion. We remember seeing the Legion of Mary aka The Jerry Garcia Band - JGB with Merl Saunders many times. We saw Bobby Weir with Kingfish. We were at Boston's Music Hall when the Dead started touring again in 74. They opened up their 3 day run with Cold, Rain & Snow. It was Epic. We are one of the fortunate Deadheads Remember Englishtown '77. Oxford Plains too. We were in Nashville when Jerry passed in the summer of 1995 and weeped uncomfortably in the stairwell of the Ga***rd Opryland Hotel. Our grief was real. Just like now. Two weeks before Bobby joined the stars, one of our best friends, a true Deadhead from Boston since 1973, lost his courageous battle with cancer. He was a true believer in enjoying the High Times and living the Good Life. As we all know, too much of everything is just enough. That unbreakable bond and sense of community is why we created The Deadhead Ranch at Hummingbird Hollow. We hope to see you soon

We built The Deadhead Ranch at Hummingbird Hollow near Visit Palestine, Texas because Being a DeadHead is awesome. It's been a major part of our social and spiritual consciousness since 1973. We've seen over 600 shows and know the Deadhead experience is the best. It's filled our lives with magic and mirth. They truly are a Band beyond description. Losing Bobby 2 weeks ago was heartbreaking, yet so much more bearable knowing we shared our grief with Grateful Dead Fans and Dead & Company Fans from around the world. We are connected. We are a family.

We're hearing from Deadheads from around the morrning at The Deadhead Ranch at Hummingbird Hollow as we mourn the passing of Bobby Weir. Shock is understatement even though we knew he wasn't well. Deadheads Deep Down South, DFW Deadheads, Jewish Deadheads, Houston Deadheads and the Deadheads Remember Englishtown '77 lost a guiding light yesterday. For us, he'll always be Playing in the Band. His prankster personality, rhythm guitar riffs and powerful lyrics always rocked our world. We were blessed to get to know Bobby one awesome all-nighter in Saratoga NY before an epic show at the S**C. It's a memory we'll cherish forever and ever. The DeadHeads MA landscape will be empty with him gone. R. I. P. Bobby. Going to Hell in Bucket Babe, but at least we're enjoying the ride.

We're so excited to be going to the IMAX theater AMC - Northpark Dallas on Sunday night for Dead & Company 2025 final 60th Anniversary Show. It's an awesome Plan B! Last night's Garcia-inspired sunset at our gorgeous 32 acre ranch got us super stoked. "Counting Stars by candlelight all that are dim but one is bright. The light of Spiral Venus rising first and shining best. On, from the northwest corner of a brand new Crescent Moon. Crickets and Cicadas sing a rare and different tune at Terrapin Station and The Deadhead Ranch at Hummingbird Hollow."

Greetings fellow Deadheads from The Palms Resort in Las Vegas. We're here to see the Dead & Company Sphere 2025 this evening. Michael slipped away solo from The Deadhead Ranch at Hummingbird Hollow yesterday to attend tonight's show. Then he flies back to Dallas early tomorrow for the Aggie Wedding Weekend of the Year. Kudo's, mad love and much appreciation to my beautiful wife Pamela and our amazing team for allowing me the opportunity to shake my bones with some DFW Deadheads, Jewish Deadheads and friends living the Deadhead Life - Grateful Dead To The Core!
