🖌️ Self – taught Hi World! I'm Linda Sacketti! Art is my passion and now my full-time career.

I'm a self-taught artist and I have been painting all my life. I love to travel and when I do, I take many, many photographs. Then when I return home to my studio, I take my photos and create my art. My media of preference is acrylic paint on canvas. Acrylic paint gives me more freedom than oils and I don't need to use any linseed oils or solvents.

I'm sharing "Butterfly Garden" because it brings color and a gentle sense of motion into a space. I created "Lagoon of Flamingos" to explore that tense calm when low mountains hover over a reflective shore. Delicate pink birds move across cool blues and warm earth tones, small and purposeful against a wide, luminous surface. I wanted to share "Spring Fling" with you. It’s a vibrant tapestry of pink blossoms, from pale rose to deep magenta, with small sparks of yellow at the centers. Dark leaves and stems weave through the arrangement and create a diagonal flow that guides the eye, while the play of light and shadow gives the petals a sense of movement, like a soft breeze just passed.
