Pala's Cupa Days

Pala's Cupa Days Cupa Days is held the first weekend of May. There will be Food, Arts & Crafts with dancing and singing from various tribes. This is Free to the public

Cupa Days began in 1974, when the Cupa Culture Center first opened its doors. This cultural event commemorates the anniversary of the relocation of the Cupeno people that occurred in May 1903. Our ancestors were forced to leave their homeland at Cupa and travel for three days to Pala, 40 miles away. We invite you to share in the songs, dances, and words of the Cupeno people as we honor our ancestors and commemorate our history

Good Morning Fb friends and family. Come on down today and enjoy some Indian tacos, burgers, pizza while watching our local tribes sing and dance. Opening ceremony is at 10am.There will be lots of beautiful arts and crafts booths for you to look at as well.
