RIP to the great Bill Wise.

A fixture on the Austin film scene for years.
He was quite the personality.

Every indie film director I knew who was casting his age range wanted a
"Bill Wise" type, that is of course if Bill was not available.

Seeing the outpouring of love from the community is just a reminder of the impact he left on every actor and creative in the room that was lucky enough to work with him.

A good number of years ago I got to collaborate with Director and Friend Bryan Poyser as he was working on a music video for Emily Bell titled "Can't Talk Back". There was a role of a tough but encouraging football coach and it had Bill's name written all over it.

Thankfully he said yes because watching this one again I couldn't see anyone else giving this role, and all the other roles he played, the justice that Bill gave to it.
