I'm in love with Boulder Opals that come from Queensland, Australia...because they combine brilliant light-filled colors with the earthy rock they grow in. I call this beauty "River of Life", and I've added a blue-green topaz to make the brilliant color pop even more. This stone has properties that are said to enhance spiritual awareness. I just finished creating "California Poppies" -- a beautiful plume agate that I enhanced with a faceted garnet gemstone. Plume agates have the energy of protection, strength, and harmony. I see fields of red poppies along the California coastline, with lacy clouds in the sky... Isn't Mother Nature amazing?

Hot off the soldering torch! I just finished this beauty which I've named "Earth Sea & Sky". The stone is an azurite malachite, and I love the unique shape of it. I've added a faceted apatite gemstone to accentuate the gorgeous blues and greens in the stone. I just finished this pendant, which I've entitled "Polestar". The stone is fossil palm - an amazing, unique, one of a kind specimen...it seems like there is a star in it! I was inspired to add a piece of black coral that is over 50 years old and came from the Caribbean. I made a black onyx beaded necklace to go with it, but some people prefer chains to beads...that is why I photographed it with both options.

This is a chrysanthumum stone whose design looks like an actual flower. The pattern in the stone is just the way the minerals formed in the earth...not all chrysanthumum stones have as nice a design in them. I set this with gold-fill and sterling and added a genuine Tahitian black pearl to give it a classic look of elegance. "They" say the chrysanthumum stone helps you to live the life of your dreams. This is another awesome boulder opal from Queensland, Australia that I just created a beautiful setting for. I'm calling the piece: "Where Angels Dance" because the play of light and colors in the stone look heavenly. A faceted blue topaz gemstone makes the blues in the opal really pop. I call this pendant "Lavendar Lace" because the crystal formations in this Royal Aztec Agate gemstone look like lace. I added a faceted amethyst to compliment the colors in it.
