I know I've been pretty quiet the last few weeks as I've been in Montana helping my mother. I'm ready to fly back home tomorrow and wanted to show off the pieces I made while I was here!

I'm off the island and on the mainland! I will be in Montana through the end of the month, but that won't stop me from making wraps!
I started this guy before I left and just finished it up while on the road. The shell is an opihi that I polished myself. The fins feature freshwater pearls, and the head is topped with a little rose quartz 😍

Here is a smaller opihi shell that I hand polished and wrapped up in brass
Traditionally with opihi, bigger is better. I tend to use only my biggest shells, but some people may want something smaller. It's actually illegal to harvest opihi smaller than a half dollar, so this is about as small as you'll see me working with 💜 let the little guys grow

Good morning beautiful people! It's a rainy day, but I've got two cowrie shells to show you! These little guys were found at the coast near my house, and I wrapped them up into pendants. One in brass, the other in copper 💜
