Congratulations to Danielle Shirley, our newly crowned 2026 Page/Lake Powell Rodeo Queen! And to 1st Attendant Kacey Laughlin!
We started this morning with the Horsemanship Competition and concluded at Courtyard by Marriott with the Modeling/Speech Competition.
Thank you Hank Nez for officiating the pageant. Thank you Darryl Monroe with Rodeo 98 for the awesome prepared grounds this morning for the Horsemanship. Thank you to the crew at Bitahni Boutique and Fitness Odyssey for helping throughout the pageant. Thank you Hot and Sweet Donuts and Coffee for the refreshments this morning. Thank you Fitness Odyssey for the refreshments this afternoon. Thank you Desert Celebrations Floral for the beautiful bouquets. Thank you Courtyard at Marriott for the use of the conference rooms!
A huge Thank You to Cajun Cleveland Miss Indian National Finals Rodeo for joining us today as a judge and guest speaker. Thank you to all of our judges Kyra Sloan, Clay Tom Fowler, Jason Manymules, and Jessica Crank.
We are looking forward to the exciting things Ms. Shirley will do during her reign as Miss Page/Lake Powell Rodeo Queen!

So exciting to announce our two contestants for the Page/Lake Powell Rodeo Queen pageant this year!

Please meet Danielle Shirley, a Senior at Page High School. She loves to play basketball and volleyball. Danielle also has been a past member of the Western Junior Rodeo Association. Recently she has been carrying the American flag for local trail rides which is quite an honor. After high school she plans to attend Navajo Technical University. Her plan is to become a Veterinarian and continue her journey with rodeo.
Please also meet Kacey J. Laughlin a student at Ganado High School. She is avidly involved with Varsity Cross Country, Basketball, and Softball. Kacey loves to ride horses where she has also been helping her father train horses. She has participated in gymkhana and also in trail rides. She is currently enrolled in a welding program and plans to continue to earn her Journeyman certificate.

The pageant will be held this Saturday at 10:00am at the Vermillion Cliffs Arena for the Horsemanship portion and then at 2:00pm at Courtyard at Marriott for Social Interview/Modeling.

We will be having two locations for the Rodeo Queen Pageant.
🐴 10am at Vermillion Cliffs Arena for the Horsemanship
👗2pm at Page Courtyard by Marriott for Speech Interview and Modeling.
