All the tiny quilt scraps have been made into even tinier pumpkins! Whimsical, entirely hand stitched, these cuties are ready to go off to new homes. We managed to be ready by 9am today for the first day of our Estate Sale that Carol and I are running. We had SO many compliments on how well organized & how attractive everything was arranged. Happy Birthday to this guy. My big brother, Matt. A lifelong tease and jokester, shy, didn’t care for school, was a chef for most of his life, took care of our mom in her final years. I’m lucky - because we were able to keep our mom’s house, and that’s where he lives. When I go up to York to work on St. Mary’s Bazaar stuff, I stay there. What a privilege it is to be able to spend time with him - time that grown siblings usually don’t get with each other. We may be closer than many siblings - because we are both adopted - and we don’t take that word ‘family’ for granted.
