Paducah Zombie Walk

I’ve had to make the difficult decision to not have the Zombie Walk this year.

I wanted to make it a surprise as soon as we got the permit.

We applied for the permit back in June and just now been granted a permit with under a month before the walk.

Add that with the lack of funding for the walk and it’s just not going to happen.

I apologize to everyone that donated and looked forward to it but I didn’t want to pay any money upfront or do any advertising unless we got the permit first.

I plan on submitting a permit application in January which should give the permit process plenty of time to go over it and for us to have some fundraising events.

If anyone wants to sponsor us for next year, let me know.

Who wants to shamble the streets of Paducah this year?

We’re thinking about bringing the walk back this year but expenses are going to be higher than in the past.

We are thinking of some ways to fundraise money so that Paducah can shamble with the dead once more.

Maybe a gofundme or a benefits concert. Maybe sponsors to go on the backs of our shirts.

Would you ghouls be up for any of those fundraising ideas?

WPSD are closing the doors on their historic location and moving downtown after 60+ years in lone oak. We are grateful to have access to WPSD’s newsroom back in 2013 record our promo for that years walk.

We wanted to get the word out on the 5th annual Paducah Zombie Walk, and what better way than with a newscast with evil babies, talking dogs and zombies!

Hi guys and ghouls,

Unfortunately, The Paducah Zombie Walk won’t be shambling this year but I do have good news! The committee zombies and I will begin meeting soon to plan the 2024 walk!

We miss you all and look forward to seeing you again in 2024.

Hi everyone.

We just want to say that we’ve missed you guys too.

We are also also excited about the wedding of our own “Carl The Zombie” coming up in October.

That being said, the Paducah Zombie Walk crew will unfortunately be unable to put on a walk and a wedding this year, so we have decided to put off the walk until hopefully 2023.

Look for us next spring for a update on the 2023 Paducah Zombie Walk.

Hey fellow zombies,

Unfortunately due to covid and a couple personal reasons, we will not be holding a 2021 Paducah Zombie Walk.

We’re hoping next year will be safer for us to shamble the streets of paducah.

Thank you for your supporting the walk through the years and for contacting us to let us know you haven’t forgotten about the walk.

The walk will return someday and we will shamble the streets of Paducah again!! Just not in 2021.
