The Paducah Art House Alliance (formerly Paducah Film Society), a 501 c 3 nonprofit organization, was founded in 1991 by a group of arts-minded individuals who saw a need for an outlet for foreign, independent and documentary film. As interest increased within the community, programming expanded to multiple screenings. While the space we rented from Paducah's Market House Theatre was adequate, we

were limited as to how often we could present our films due to the demand of the Market House's live production programming. We needed a new home, and Maiden Alley Cinema was born. Since then, Maiden Alley Cinema has become one of the area's leading arts organizations, bringing the art of the film to a much wider audience. Our regular weekly films, special film events, children's programs and vintage film series provide an ever-changing and exciting embellishment to the growing cultural community of Paducah, Kentucky.

From 1:00 - 2:30PM, filmmaker Ashton Culp presents three original LGBTQ+ short films with a reception and discussion to follow. Sponsored by Provider Enrichment Services.

We're holding BACKROOMS over for one more weekend! MAC is the perfect place to watch A24's smash hit, and we appreciate everyone who decided to watch it downtown. Here are some things you can look forward to if you come to MAC instead of...the other local theater.

BACKROOMS follows Clark (Chiwetel Ejiofor), a dejected, failed architect running a struggling furniture store. After noticing weird power surges, he discovers a basement portal to an endless maze of liminal yellow rooms. His obsession with the dimension spirals into psychological horror.

🎬🌊 Lights, Camera, River Camp is open for registration!

We’re excited to partner with the River Discovery Center for this special two-day summer camp where students won’t just learn about the river. They’ll help tell its story.

Campers will work together to plan, shoot, and help produce a river-focused video project while learning hands-on storytelling skills from an Emmy Award-winning video journalist.

To make the experience even more memorable, Maiden Alley Cinema will host the campers’ big-screen premiere, giving families the chance to celebrate their work in a true theater setting. We’ll also have the concession stand open so families can enjoy the full premiere experience.

Space is intentionally limited to 10 campers per session on a first-come, first-served basis.

HOKUM is a gothic supernatural horror film directed by Damian McCarthy, starring Adam Scott as Ohm Bauman, a reclusive author who travels to a remote Irish hotel to scatter his parents' ashes. While there, he becomes entangled in local legends of a witch haunting the hotel, facing disturbing visions and a disappearance that forces him to confront his past.
