Cars & Guitars is about more than classic cars and live music.

At its core, this event is about bringing people into Downtown Paducah, supporting the businesses that make downtown special, and creating a fun, welcoming atmosphere for the whole community to enjoy.

One of the things we’re most excited about this year is seeing so many downtown businesses and community partners come together to help this event thrive. Their involvement is what turns Cars & Guitars from just an event into a full downtown experience.

🚗🎸 Cars & Guitars — What to Know Before You Go

Cars & Guitars - September 19th, 2026 returns to Historic Downtown Paducah, and we can’t wait to see everyone back downtown!

Here are a few things to know before you go:

🚗 Show Car Entry
Show cars will enter at 6th Street & Broadway. Cars will no longer enter from 3rd or 4th Street to help prevent traffic backups on the main roads.

⏰ Show Car Arrival
Show cars may begin entering at 3:00 PM. Please follow event staff and volunteers as they help guide parking.

💵 Registration
Show vehicle registration is $5. After parking, bring your completed registration form to the Gazebo at 2nd Street & Broadway to pay and receive your numbered window card.

🗳️ People’s Choice Voting
Place your window card on your dash or windshield so attendees can vote for your vehicle. Voting closes at 6:00 PM.

🏆 Awards
Awards will be announced at 7:00 PM.

🎶 Public Event
The event is free to attend and will include cars, live music, food, drinks, vendors, downtown businesses, and community fun.

📍 New Layout Reminder
Cars & Guitars will now run farther down Broadway, including the 400 and 500 Blocks, helping bring more downtown businesses into the event space.

🚗🎸 Show Car Entry Update — Please Read

To help improve traffic flow and prevent backups on the main roads, show cars will no longer enter Cars & Guitars from 3rd Street or 4th Street.

For Cars & Guitars - September 19th, 2026, all show cars should come down Broadway and enter the event at:

📍 6th Street & Broadway

Once you enter at 6th and Broadway, you’ll be able to make your way down Broadway and park in an available show car space.

This change will help reduce traffic congestion around 3rd and 4th Street and create a safer, smoother entry process for everyone.

Event staff and volunteers will be on site to help with directions, parking, and questions. Please follow their instructions as we work to get everyone parked safely and efficiently.

Please help us spread the word so everyone knows where to enter before arriving.

Cars & Guitars - September 19th, 2026 returns to Historic Downtown Paducah in 20 days!

We’re excited to bring everyone back together for another evening of classic cars, live music, local businesses, food, drinks, vendors, awards, and community energy.

We’ve been working on updates to make this next event smoother, safer, and even better for everyone coming downtown.
