This is the “Farmer’s Market in Arcata” which is held every Saturday in downtown Arcata square. I made a some sketches on site & took some photos for reference. Then I composed the drawing on canvas and spent weeks painting it in oil

I wanted to paint the local scenes of Northern California that I started in August of 2025. I finished them all before the year ended.
This one is of the “Marsh in Arcata” which is a popular place to visit for walkers, photographers, bikers, birdwatchers & others. The marsh with its forever changing landscape😊
