On Saturday, September 12, 1:00 – 4 pm, our friends at the Pacific Northwest Railroad Archive are hosting an extra special event: “America 250: Revisiting the Bicentennial Freedom Train."

They're hosting this event as part of the America 250 commemorations, and it will begin with a discussion of how the idea of the Freedom Train was born and how it became a reality. This vital history will be followed by presentations by people who worked on the project, from engineers to designers. In addition to individual presentations, the event will include a moderated panel discussion.

FREE and open to the public. Lunch provided by PNRA. RSVP online if you are able to be there in person.
