My new series…so many happy places, happy memories and so much amazing feedback from all of you, thank you🥰🥰🥰 Painting these landscapes I have learnt so many new things, tried color combinations I would never have considered and made many happy mistakes. I love how with painting, it can feel like what you’re doing is such a disaster, you want to throw it out the window and drive over it with your car. And then you do something, and the whole thing changes. And suddenly you see all that terribleness was actually exactly perfect. And the end result is something beautiful. I cannot wait to get back to it today!

Painting number 2 of 2026!
I love the vibrancy, the size, the texture, the life in this painting! Koi are such a happy childhood memory for me- going to the garden center and picking out fish for our pond. Feeding them, watching them live, have babies, grow and hide under Lilly pads. There is something very special about koi. They glow and shimmer🥰

This piece is 12”x36” on 1.5” deep cradled canvas. It is available now via my website:

First painting of the year done! This one is travelling to Michigan with one of my best friends as they move to a new state for a new beginning. I’m going to be so sorry to see them go but happy for them too. Leah was one of the first vendors I made friends with at a local show when I started doing shows. We have stayed in many hotels, talked for hours on the phone, celebrated and commiserated together. And she helped me so much when I was trying to figure out my way. It’s a weird life selling at shows, they are my coworkers and you go through a lot together. I’m so grateful they came into my life when they did. And they’re not getting off the hook from my phone calls worrying about whatever I’ve found to worry about 😂 love you Ben and Leah and see you soon and talk to you even sooner (like maybe while you’re driving today😂)
❤️ ❤️
