New year, new fest, same MAG!! We’re about a week out from MAGFest 2025 and we thought you all might want to know what you can expect from Arcade Commons! Can you all believe that it was about this time last year we re-branded from Death By Audio Arcade? Neither can we!
First up, did you know ROBYSOFT () has been part of the org for 10 years now? We’ll have Volleygon, Massive, fan favorite Powerboat Italia ‘88, and latest smash hit HOVERBURGER all on display! Check out the Powerboat and Hoverburger tournaments, and in between we might even have some secret games for retrospective...
Would you believe has ALSO part of the org for 10 years now? His games, Particle Mace, Vector Mace, Salmon Roll, Circumnavigators, and Bleep Space will all be on display! We’ll also be premiering two brand new projects, The Indomitable Rocket Dog and Ziggurat of the Titan Beetle!
The hits keep on coming - you know ‘em, you love ‘em, Tournament staples Speglar, Super Sharp Birds, and Nothing Good Can Come Of This will return, alongside a new and improved Dyebreaker! This game was previewed at MAGFest 2024, and now you can play the finished version!
We’ll also have friends of Arcade Commons in our general collection at the show! Icarus Proudbottom’s Typing Party by our friends (of Trombone Champ fame) and Cakefoot by Frank (dank.game) will be returning to the show for your gaming pleasure.
We are proud to present a brand new cabinet, WeatherSys Admin! This cabinet was a BAC Grant funded, AC built collaboration including several devs both new and old to the Arcade Commons community. Select one of 6 unique games, all influenced by actual weather API data!
And last but certainly not least, we are thrilled to reveal the COMPLETED Nightmare Kart build! We’re debuting the cabinet this year at MAGFest 2025!! We put everything we have into this cab, and we can’t wait to show it to you! Come see it on the showfloor, at the panel with @ b0tster.yeag.gay AND for the speedrun showcase by @ j0ker!
