REMINDER: The Oxnard Salsa Festival will not take place in 2026.

We know this beloved tradition means a great deal to our community, and we appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding as we take this year to prepare for the festival’s future.

We look forward to bringing the Oxnard Salsa Festival back in 2027 and can’t wait to celebrate with you again.

The Board of Directors of the Oxnard Downtowners has announced a temporary pause for the annual Oxnard Salsa Festival. Launched in 1993, the Oxnard Salsa Festival has brought music, dance, food, and community spirit to downtown Oxnard for over 30 years. Thanks to the dedication of a hardworking volunteer team, the event has become a beloved summer tradition. As the festival continues to evolve, the board has made the decision to take a break in 2025 to reimagine and refresh the experience for a vibrant relaunch in 2026. (and now rescheduled for 2027)
