If you were stranded on a deserted island and only had one album to listen to for the rest of your life, what would you choose?

For me, it is Counting Crows "August and Everything After".

I, like everyone else, fell in love with "Mr. Jones" the first time I heard it and immediately bought the album. It was the first time as a musician that I realized you can write absolutely great songs and still be cool. The album is dark and brooding, but not heavy, yet it fits into a metal playlist perfectly. The lyrics are great. The musicianship is perfect. The production is next level. It is a perfect album... and "Mr. Jones" is my least favorite track. "Sullivan Street" is my favorite, followed by "Perfect Blue Buildings", and "Omaha". Who knew an accordion could be cool?

I will never grow tired of this album.
