So you may have seen this photo of my husband Mike Andrews with honey from his hives here in Oxford earlier this week. Well tomorrow, Saturday the 13th, from 11-2 you can meet Mike and hear how he takes care of his bees so he can extract such wonderful honey from his hives. And we’ll let you have a taste too! &CraftSpace

This is my husband Mike who raises bees as a hobby. Or is it an obsession? So much hard work, early mornings, hot days in a suffocating bee suit, constant work, treatments, defeats and, less frequently, small triumphs! We got to experience one of those triumphs the last couple of weeks; extracting and bottling the honey! Not so much of it, but boy is it super delicious! We have a limited quantity of it at The Art & Craft Space and if you’ve had Mike’s honey before, you’ll waste no getting in here for yours while it lasts! &CraftSpace
