🌻 Community Garden is Growing! 🌻🌱

Our young gardeners had a wonderful time exploring the Oxford Community Garden at Seymour Lake Township Park! Participants enjoyed hands-on activities, learned about plants and gardening, and discovered how fruits and vegetables grow. From planting and harvesting to stories and crafts, every visit is an adventure in nature.

A big thank you to Mrs. Don, all of our Garden Explorers and families for joining us and helping our garden grow! 🌿🍅🥕 We love seeing curiosity bloom and can’t wait for more garden fun throughout the season.

Friday fireworks moved to Sunday!
Here's the scoop -- Tonight's fireworks display has been postponed until Sunday (start time between 9:30 and 10 p.m.) due to the inclement weather. The carnival will remain open until 10 p.m. tonight and the live music will continue until 10 p.m., weather permitting. Please note, some rides are not running because of the weather. The carnival will be open 1 to 11 p.m. on Sunday. Saturday's festivities (carnival, classic car show, live music and fireworks) will proceed as scheduled. Thank you for your patience and understanding!

The Oxford Soccer Club will be hosting on Open House for the 8u players on Tuesday, June 9 and Thursday, June 11, 5:30pm-7:00pm at Seymour Lake Township Park. Although the focus will be on the boy’s team, the open house and tryouts are open to boys and girls. The team would compete in a boy’s division even if the team ends up as coed. If a coach is interested in starting an 8u all girls team, contact me and I can review all the details and commitments that comes with being a travel coach.

The open house is an opportunity to meet the coach and play with the other participants. The official tryout for the team will be on Saturday, June 13 and/or Monday, June 15. You can pre-register for the tryout by scanning the QR code.
