What an incredible evening at the state-wide Sutton Foster awards last night! Our OHS nominees – Tyler Williams and Jacob Jones – represented Oxford Theatre beautifully on the Wharton Center stage, with Jacob even being able to perform his Olaf solo in a character medley! ☃️

This year, 85 theatre programs from all across the state (both high schools and pre-professional programs) participated in the Sutton Foster Awards - with each having their musicals observed and judged by 3 adjudicators. We’re proud to announce that OHS Theatre was one of ONLY EIGHT theatre programs in the entire STATE to be recognized for excellence in ALL SIX categories!

OHS Theatre’s LAST show of the year is April 24-26: THE NERD. It’s a hilarious comedy that will be performed in our black box theatre (a small space venue which makes the experience much more intimate/fun!).

There are only 50 tickets per show (6 shows) so get your tickets from any Adv. Acting student ASAP! ($15) Limited tickets also available at the door (while supplies last) or by emailing Director [email protected] (if reserved at least 48 hours in advance).

For the past 2 years Oxford has had adjudicators attend their productions for the state-wide Sutton Foster Awards program (the precursor to the national Jimmy Awards), and for the past 2 years, two actors from Oxford have been nominated!
