Tonight is going to be the perfect summer night in Downtown Owosso! 🎶🌙❤ We hope to see you there!

The Sandra Faye Band will be rocking out the Owosso Amphitheater stage starting at 7pm! Come enjoy some free live music with your community!

The Exhibit is open at the Shiawassee Arts Center until 7pm - learn about the history of some of our local nonprofits and what they continue to do!

The Owosso Farmers Market has their Moonlight Market - Night 3 happening at Curwood Castle park beginning at 5:30pm! There are lots of exciting vendors and food trucks to check out!

Tonight's concert and the market are canceled due to the air quality. We look forward to seeing you next week.

Unfortunately, tonight’s Moonlight Market – Night 2 is canceled due to hazardous air quality from Canadian wildfire smoke.

We are making this announcement in coordination with the leadership of tonight’s Summer Series concert at the Owosso Amphitheater, which is also being canceled because of the smoke.

Official air-quality readings across our region remain at hazardous levels this morning, and today’s forecast continues to call for unhealthy conditions. Even without the heat expected later today, the air is already unsafe for our vendors, staff, performers, families, and visitors to spend several hours outside.

We hate making this call. So many of our vendors have spent days preparing, and we know how many people throughout the community were excited for tonight. We were going to unveil the market’s new semi-professional bubble machine! Hahaha. Its grand debut will just have to wait a little longer.

The good news is that we are working to add another Thursday at the end of the Moonlight Market series as a makeup night! We anticipate that being Thursday, August 13, from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM at Curwood Castle Park, and we will share a firm confirmation as soon as everything is finalized.

Please stay safe today, limit unnecessary time outdoors, and check on friends, family members, and neighbors who may be especially vulnerable to wildfire smoke.
