Dear Glam fans,
This is a post I’ve been putting off writing for a while… mostly because I just wasn’t quite ready to make it real.
The dream of Glitter Glam first started in my head back in February of 2022, after taking my daughter to a little kids’ spa. I remember thinking it was absolutely magical—every little girl’s dream—and thinking, I could do this… and maybe even make it something really special!
For the next couple of years, that idea stayed with me. I dreamed about it, planned it and convinced myself it was foolproof. 😂 Then the perfect opportunity came along, I took a huge leap of faith, and in February of 2024, the doors to Glitter Glam opened at 109 W. Mason St. Owosso, MI!
And what a roller coaster ride it has been!!
There has been SO much glitter. So much nail polish! So much hair tinsel!! So much laughter, music, dancing, birthday wishes and absolute adorable chaos. 😂💖
But my favorite part has always been when the shy little girls walk in and slowly came out of her shell. Watching them look in the mirror after getting glammed up. Watching them walk that runway to their favorite song, singing at the top of their lungs and suddenly feeling like the most confident kid in the room was truly amazing! It’s also been when those girls come in who may have been told they were “too much” and instantly felt comfortable! We gave them a safe space to be themselves and shine!
Those moments were exactly what I hoped Glitter Glam would be. 🥹✨
But Glitter Glam also gave me something I never expected, too. It gave me my mom back.
After losing my dad, I watched her slowly find joy again with the spa! Glitter Glam gave us something to build together. It became our happy place. It was something to look forward to and a place where I got to watch pieces of her start to bloom again. 💕 Seeing my mom and my daughter together in this little business has been one of the greatest gifts to come out of this entire adventure.
My daughter and my mom have truly been the spark behind so much of Glitter Glam! 🤍
And that’s what makes this next part so hard to write…..
After a lot of thought, reflection and probably more back-and-forth with myself than anyone realizes, I have made the difficult decision to close the doors of Glitter Glam. 💔😭Sometimes a dream can be beautiful, meaningful and worth doing—even if it isn’t meant to last forever. Even if things do not work out the way you hoped.
I don’t regret taking the chance! I’m proud that I tried. I’m proud of what we created. I’m proud of every little girl who walked through our doors and left standing a little taller. And I will forever be grateful for the memories my family made inside those glitter-covered walls. 💖
But we’re not done just yet!

If you’ve been wanting to book a birthday party, Bestie Day, glam experience, slime day—or you’ve been saying, “We need to go there sometime!”—this is your chance to come experience Glitter Glam and make a memory with us that will sparkle for a lifetime!!
After September 15th, we’ll begin transitioning into our closing sale, where we’ll start selling furniture, décor, party supplies, inventory and lots of Glitter Glam goodies. More information about that will come later.
Until then, we’re going to keep doing what we’ve always done…
✨ Throwing glitter.
🎀 Making memories.
🤩 Hair Tinsel
🌈 Mixing slime.
🎤 Singing way too loudly on the runway.
💖 And reminding every kid who walks through our doors just how special they are.
Thank you to every family who booked a party, attended an event, walked through our doors, shared a post, told a friend or simply cheered this crazy little dream on.
Glitter Glam may be closing its doors, but I will never regret opening them for you! And who knows— maybe we will pop up at a community event or do private home parties in the future sometime if there is an interest!!
But for now.. like, share, and book..🤞🙌🤍help us fill our schedule and go out like a beautiful glitter bomb!
