Join us TOMORROW NIGHT from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Curwood Castle Park for a huge night of local food, treats, art, books, handmade goods and family fun! We’ll have the petting zoo, free face painting, free balloon animals and free airbrushed tattoos, and a live concert all right along the Shiawassee River!

We are especially excited to welcome MSU’s Impart Alliance and its 45-foot mobile training unit! IMPART is working to strengthen Michigan’s direct care workforce, and this incredible truck helps bring hands-on training directly into communities across the state. Come check it out and learn more about the skills and careers that help older adults and people with disabilities live safely and independently.

Then at 7 p.m., Simply In Time takes the stage at the Owosso Amphitheater across the river for a free concert filled with funk, classic rock, R&B, Yacht Rock and instrumental jams. Their music draws from artists like Bruce Springsteen, Elton John, David Bowie, Cake, Wild Cherry, Vulfpeck, Cory Wong and plenty more!

The Shiawassee Arts Center will also be open from 5 to 7:30 p.m. with its Year of the Nonprofit exhibit, celebrating the local organizations that serve and strengthen our community. Curwood Castle and Comstock Cabin will be open too, so there will be something happening everywhere you turn.

Right now, the weather is looking just about perfect: upper 70s, cloudy and a 10% or lower chance of rain. Come hungry, bring the kids, shop local, walk the riverfront and stay for the music. It’s going to be a GREAT night in Downtown Owosso!

We are SO EXCITED to share the July 9 vendor lineup for the first Moonlight Market of the 2026 season, and our vendors are excited too. This is going to be a HUGE night in Downtown Owosso!!

Join us Thursday, July 9 from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM at Curwood Castle Park and along the river for an evening full of food, sweets, drinks, handmade goods, art, books, gifts, kids activities, and more.

Opening night will include a petting zoo from Blue Freckled Farm, balloon animals, face painting, and a concert across the river at Owosso Amphitheater.

Curwood Castle, the Comstock Cabin, and the Shiawassee Arts Center will also be open right next to the market, so it’s a perfect night to shop, eat, explore, and enjoy downtown Owosso!

Our July 9 vendor lineup is in the graphic below. We’ll try to tag as many vendors as Facebook lets us, so you can follow them, check out their work, and get excited for Thursday night. Bring the family, invite your friends, and come help us kick off Moonlight Market.

Im so excited to be a part of this ! I'll be down there the 9th and August 6th!

Moonlight Market is back, and we’re excited for even more fun this year! Join us Thursday evenings at Curwood Castle Park and the Riverwalk for a summer market full of local vendors, food, music, bubbles, balloon animals, petting zoos, kids activities, and plenty of summer night energy!

We’re planning more family fun throughout the series, plus a great mix of local makers, artists, food vendors, and small businesses. It’s a perfect night to bring the kids, meet up with friends, shop local, grab dinner, and enjoy one of Downtown Owosso’s prettiest spaces.

The Moonlight Market lineup is looking WILD this year! We have over 60 approved vendors and counting already lined up for this season, and we are still reviewing more!!

Across the series, you’ll find an incredible mix of local food, sweet treats, drinks, handmade goods, original art, books, plants, farm goods, jewelry, pottery, candles, soaps, crochet, woodwork, metal art, pet treats, knife sharpening, and e-bike info!

We’ll have balloon animals, face painting, petting zoos, Curwood Castle will be open, the Shiawassee Arts Center will be open, and great bands like Shiatown, Midday Sun, and more will be performing right across the river at the Owosso Amphitheater!

It’s going to be one of those perfect summer nights in Downtown Owosso.
