✨ BIG NEWS ✨

Tomorrow I’ll be sitting down with LEX 18 News to talk about something that means more to me than words can fully express — our foster care efforts and the incredible community that continues to stand behind them.

This will actually be the second time I’ve had the opportunity to be featured on the news for this event, and I honestly can’t believe how much it has grown. What started as a dream to give back to children in foster care has turned into something bigger and better every single year, and that’s because of every person who has donated, shared a post, attended an event, sponsored a ride, bought raffle tickets, or simply believed in what we’re trying to accomplish.

Because of all of you, we’ve already raised donations, supplies, awareness, and support that will directly impact children who need to know that they matter and that they haven’t been forgotten. Every dollar, every suitcase, every stuffed animal, every hygiene item, and every act of kindness adds up to something truly life changing.

From the bottom of my heart — thank you. ❤️

Another piece of news that makes this year even more special is hearing that Hope Hill Children’s Home is reopening its doors. Back in 2012, Hope Hill was a girls group home and it was part of my own foster care journey. Seeing it reopen now as a home for boys feels incredibly full circle for me.

What excites me even more is hearing about the changes being made and the new direction they’re taking. They’re doing things differently, growing, evolving, and creating opportunities to make an even greater impact on the lives of children who need support the most. Knowing that more children will have a safe place, guidance, and people who care deeply about them gives me so much hope for the future.

As many of you know, our Suitcases for Fosters event returns this November, and we’re not just bringing it back — we’re revamping it and making it bigger and better than ever before. We have so many ideas, plans, partnerships, and surprises in the works that I can barely contain my excitement.

This cause is deeply personal to me because I know what it feels like to carry your life from place to place in trash bags and wonder if anyone sees you. My goal has always been to make sure these children know that they are seen, they are valued, and they are worthy of love and dignity.

So keep an eye out for the LEX 18 interview and show it some love when it airs! 📺❤️
