We're proud to be attending two incredible events this week — the 2026 Virginia Chapter American Society of Landscape Architects Conference on Landscape Architecture, June 12–13 in Richmond, VA 🌿, and the Maryland Municipal League Summer Conference, June 14–16 in Ocean City, MD 🌊.

What an incredible day at Reservoir Park in DC! 🙌

We had the honor of hosting the Potomac ASLA Chapter for a Play Tour and CEU session centered around the topic, Innovation is Invitation — and it was such a meaningful experience to share. We explored how designing with intention and with everyone in mind creates spaces where every child, family, and caregiver feels welcome, included, and free to play together.

Highlights included getting up close with the Landscape Structures Inc. We-Go-Round and We-Go-Swing — two incredible pieces of equipment that allow children of all abilities to play together, side by side. Watching attendees interact with these features and light up with ideas was exactly what this kind of event is all about. 🛝

A huge thank you to everyone who came out and made the day so special — and to the Potomac ASLA Chapter for your continued partnership. This is exactly the kind of community we love building. We can't wait to do it again! 🩵

Last Sunday, the Sparks at Play team laced up and headed out to the 4th Annual Crusher Run 5K, and what a day it was! 🏃‍♂️🪨

Whether we were walking, running, or soaking in the incredible views along the Texas Quarry, it was a day that reminded us how special it is to be part of a community that shows up for one another. Our team got to enjoy it all with their families in tow — from food trucks to a friendly co****le battle.

We're proud to support an event that gives back in a big way. The Crusher Run benefits Construction Angels, which provides financial assistance to families of construction workers who have lost their lives on the job, and Athletes Serving Athletes, which empowers individuals with limited mobility to participate in mainstream running events. These are missions that speak to everything we stand for — inclusion, community, and showing up for one another.

A huge thank you to Maryland Transportation Builders & Materials Association for making this event happen year after year. Thank you to everyone who organized, volunteered, and came out to make it special. See you next year! 💙
