Self portrait inspired by one of my favorite Fauvist painters. This is one of the first self portraits I've done that have included my glasses. I feel like I have my life in order for the first time in a while, and producing art is easier and more natural now. Switching cities has been good for me. Shout out to all the support I've had to get here.

Nabis Martyrdom, 2018

A gift to my girlfriend's parents for their hospitality, this composition is inspired by Caravaggio's iconic Martyrdom of Saint Matthew, and is painted after the style of the Nabis of the 20th century. There are many triangles in this piece, and the eye is moved along the scene by expressive, sinuous lines and sharp diagonals. The entire color spectrum is present. Very happy with this one.

One of my recent attempts at painting in a more realistic style. I've always been intimidated by the complex processes and time commitment needed to paint this way, but I've had a lot more fun with it then I expected. Very happy with the way this is turning out, I'd say its 95% finished. I can't wait to develop this style and refine my technique :)

The finished album art for pictures.of.monsters upcoming album! It has been great to work with Dan and a privilege to hear the music before its released- It has as much if not more detail and depth as the art I've created in to accompany it, and I'm honored to have had the chance to grace his album with my art. I wish him luck in his upcoming musical ventures!
