🎶 Gray Sky Music in the news! 🎶

We’re excited to see the Messenger-Inquirer sharing the story of Matt Gray and Gray Sky Music and his work with Paramount+/Nickelodeon on Teeny Turtles! 🐢🎙️

What started right here 30 years ago in Owensboro, is reaching audiences far beyond Kentucky, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to be part of such a fun project.

A big thank you to the Messenger-Inquirer for highlighting Matt’s work and the audio and music being created right here at GSM!

Owensboro's Gray Sky Music is celebrating its 30th anniversary by doing audio work for Nickelodeon's Nick Jr. animated series "Teeny Mutant Ninja Turtles."

A sweet surprise from Nickelodeon! 🍕🐢

After another great recording session for Teeny Mutant Ninja Turtles, Matt received a little “shell-ebration” for a job well done. Apparently, when you nail the recording, Nickelodeon sends pizza… the cookie kind! 😂

Not a bad perk for making a little turtle magic in the studio. 🎙️🐢🍕

🎼 MORE EXCITING NEWS from Gray Sky Music!

We're excited to share that Matt Gray's original composition, The Quiet Way, written for the Year of St. Francis, has been selected for consideration for publication by one of the nation's largest Catholic music publishers!

This is a tremendous honor and recognition of Matt's work as a composer. If selected for publication, the song would become part of a new music collection distributed to churches and musicians around the world.

Congratulations, Matt! Your passion for creating meaningful, faith-filled music continues to open incredible doors. We can't wait to share more when we can!

We had the privilege of sitting down with SFC Phillip Wallace as he shared a difficult chapter in his life and the experiences he and his unit went through. By telling his story, Phillip hopes to honor those moments, continue the healing process, and make sure what they experienced is never forgotten.

That’s what makes this program so special. We’re able to take a veteran’s story, an experience, or even one powerful moment in time and put a melody behind it. These aren’t just songs. They’re real stories from real veterans, preserved through music.

🎙️ BIG NEWS FROM GRAY SKY MUSIC! 🎉🐢

We're thrilled to announce that Matt Gray has officially renewed his contract with Paramount/Nickelodeon for a SECOND season of Teeny Mutant Ninja Turtles! 🎧🔥
Recording for Season 2 kicks off next week, and we couldn't be more excited to continue being part of this incredible project!

The success of Season 1 has been amazing, and today made it even more special. Nickelodeon emailed Matt personally, thanking him for his professionalism throughout the production—and they're even sending him a surprise! What an incredible honor and a testament to the hard work and dedication that goes into every session at Gray Sky Music.

Congratulations, Matt! Here's to another awesome season and many more adventures ahead!
