IMPORTANT AUDITION INFORMATION

Auditions are open to the community.

November 15th, Singing By Appointment, Ralph Center- Individual song from the show. Walk-ins accepted, appointments preferred. Please make an appointment by filling in your name on this link: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Hxn82wQn4crFYGM87gaK1A317CFwKnNsJpQyTfYMESI/edit?usp=sharing

Please sing up to 1 minute of any song from the show. Bring your own accompaniment on a device. We will have speakers and try to have all possible connectors.
Any accompaniment from the show, as long as it does not have lead vocals with it. You provide those. Here are some examples that should work.

Seeking a talented and athletic performer to play a “creature/monster” in the short film, The Trophy Hunter. (Note: we will have more roles opening later this year and early next. Only casting for this one role for now).

The Story:

“A nature photographer with a speech impediment is hunted in the woods by a creature that can mimic human voices.”

Monster description:
When being watched by its prey, the monster mimics the movements and voice of its prey.
It wears a suit that is stitched-together with pieces of flesh from its victims (this suit will be custom made to fit the performer).

The Role:
Union (SAG) and Non-Union
$50/day (negotiable) + travel expenses
Must be able to wear colored contact lenses
Must be available this month for special effects/makeup tests
VERY physical. Must either be able to perform minor stunts OR physically match one of our pre-signed SAG stunt performers
Must not have any latex allergies or any other fabric/material/detergent allergies!

The Production:
6 to 10 days in March 2022 (TBD)
On location in Owensboro, Kentucky area
Creature only featured on overnight shoots

Auditions are by appointment only, Sunday November 14th or Saturday November 20th, at a location in Owensboro, KY.

In light of the recent pause on campus activities, the Kentucky Wesleyan College Theatre Department has shared an updated schedule of performances for “Guys and Dolls.”

All tickets purchased for Thursday, March 25th will be honored on Thursday April 1st, the 26th for the 2nd, the 27th for 3rd at 7 p.m., and the 28th at 2 p.m. for the 3rd at 2 p.m. NOTE: The Matinee is now on a Saturday, the 3rd.
