Sorry I’ve been gone!
Here’s a little process post for you all!
1. First I design the piece, then I cut each section from sheets of glass.
2. Next I grind each piece until they fit nicely together.
3. After a quick wipe down I foil the edges of each piece, this is what the solder attaches to.
4. I solder it all together, give it a good scrub and polish, and it’s on the way to you!
This snake took me a total of 4 hours from start to finish. This is a big reason my prices may seem high to some, this craft is labor intensive, and the materials I use aren’t cheap! My goal is to give you a piece of art that you’re in love with, for years to come.
The price is worth it, I promise! ☺️
