I recently had the honor of designing a new sanctuary building for Nelson Pentecostal Church in Central City Kentucky.

This presentation board was put together to go on display for the congregation to see what they will be constructing in the near future. 👷‍♂️

The new Goodwill building in the Washington Square Mall is set to be completed by 2024.

One of the last projects I designed at my former employer was for renovations to my former high school.

Apollo High School has had a curved 'domed' area across the front since the 80's. The compound curve dome leaked it's entire lifespan and was repaired multiple times over the years with little success.

Today when I drove by I saw that they have demolished the existing dome in preparation for the new construction. The new 'domed area' structure will be similar to but much nicer than the original. The glass structure will float a shed roof around the curved space and feature a giant eagle in the glazing. Inside will have giant recessed arches as a backdrop along with customizable LED lights so that they can backlight the eagle in the front glass wall.

Aside from the new domed area there will be a new entrance (walls going up at left), office renovations and gym lobby renovations.

Can't wait to see it completed!

It's been a busy morning! 😵‍💫

I had a progress meeting with clients on a new church building in Central City and then took a detour to Morgantown to snap a few pics of the completed Christ Covenant Church facility.

It was an impromptu visit, so didn't get inside but the exterior looks good!

I feel like I've been MIA on here while I chisel away at construction documents for a new church sanctuary building, finish artwork commissions and work on my first batch of sketch cards for Topps!

Never a dull moment around here. 🫠

A great new facility for a well deserving community!
Replacing schools where such tragedies happen is critical for students and families to move forward!
I am glad to see that they aren't wasting any time getting this built!

Board members at Robb Elementary in Uvalde, Texas are to vote on a $60million design for their new school almost a year after a shooting killed 19 children and two teachers.

My heart goes out to the citizens of Turkey following the unimaginable earthquake that they were recently hit by!

2,818 buildings collapsed across the country! This is why building codes and seismic designs are so critical! Granted this was extreme circumstances, but we design for the worst and hope for the best!
