Party Info:
A paint and sip party is a fun company team building event, group activity idea, family reunion activity, adult birthday party, bachelorette party idea, meet-up event, church fundraiser or holiday party. If you have another idea, we can probably host it! :)
No artistic experience is required, and everyone will get to take home their own completed work of art! PARTY SIZE:
On weekdays/w
eeknights the studio has a minimum of 6 painters ($150) and a maximum of 32 people. Friday and Saturday evenings and Saturday afternoon parties require an 8-person minimum. If you book a party and less than the minimum attend, then the party host has to pay the difference to meet the minimum. If you already know your group will be less than 8 people, then we encourage you to bring your party into one of our public painting classes. That way you'll get to have more fun people at your party! Parties of any size can opt to leave their class open to the public, then if your painting choice sells out the public class, the host will receive a gift certificate for a free class! COST:
Private parties do not cost extra. Our regular prices are $35 per person at the studio and $40 at Sparetime Entertainment or a venue of your choice for 2 hour paintings (16x20) and $45 for 3+ hour paintings or special size canvas. DEPOSIT:
For Friday evening, Saturday afternoon and Saturday evening parties a non-refundable deposit of $50 is required to cover the cost for a “no show” situation. (studio prices, more for off-site)
All other private party times: a $50 deposit is required to hold your reservation. This amount will be applied to your party minimum and is refundable in the form of a gift certificate only if you cancel at least 7;days prior. If you cancel within 7 days, then you forfeit your $50 deposit. DATES:
Call us at 507-318-9401 to check if your date is available, or request a party date online. We are usually available for private parties on weekday mornings and afternoons, but we may also be available on evenings and weekends as long as we do not already have a class scheduled at that time on our Calendar page. If you see a class scheduled on your preferred date, still give us a call to check because if no one has signed up yet for that class, then we may be able to book your party instead. CHOOSING A PAINTING:
When you reserve a private party, you get to pick the painting for everyone! Our artist will guide all of your guests to paint the same image. Once you've made your deposit, you may pick your painting. PARTY TIME:
The studio is open 30 minutes prior to your party time so you may set up and decorate if you choose. Please have your guests arrive at least 10 minutes early so the instructor may begin at your scheduled time. KIDS' BIRTHDAY PARTY IDEA:
Painting parties for kids can be booked for weekday and Saturday mornings. For kids 12 and under, paintings are limited to our easier 2-hour paintings, for which the cost is reduced to $25 (11x14 canvas) per person. If you prefer to choose a painting from our entire gallery, then our regular adult prices will apply. There must be one adult supervising/setting up/hosting the party.
