The 2026 at the was one for the ages! We had a marvelous time watching our state’s extraordinary student artists create a show and a moment that truly celebrates what makes theatre essential to our community and society at large. It was by far the best way to pay tribute to our craft. The kids were spectacular. Our Owasso students that were selected to participate in this years show (Brylee Cole, Isaac Russell, and Zoey Garrett) made lasting memories and are returning to school next year emboldened with the experience they have received.

There were so many well deserved awards given last night. We have an embarrassment of riches in our part of the state when It comes to High School Theatre. Troupe 4722 was not without representation at the awards! Out of 9 total nominations we came home with 2 awards!

The 2026 Discovery Awards at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center was one for the ages! We had a marvelous time watching our state's extraordinary student artists create a show and a moment that truly celebrates what makes theatre essential to our community and society at large. CONGRATS MALLORY!! Always making us proud!!

The 2026 U.S. Presidential Scholars Program has announced the semi-finalists and we are THRILLED to share that we have three semi-finalist arts students from Oklahoma! Gianni, Mallory, and Elizabeth each received the Oklahoma Education Award for Arts Excellence in 2025 and, due to their high academic performance and incredible arts achievements, were invited to apply for the U.S. Presidential Scholars Program! We look forward to learning who will be named a Scholar later this summer!!
