Me, a couple seconds before my alley-oop frontside grab! No, not really.

Someone out there got a special surprise today and I'll probably make it this weekend to give out another something. Hopefully, he posts a picture. They were new Spitfire Bighead wheels and Bones Red Bearings.

How long has the water fountain been broken? Do you guys ("you guys"=dudes, girls, moms and dads, they, them, theirs and any other of you beautiful punks!) want a bench or two put in the shaded "tent" area? Anything else? Not saying I can get it done, but not saying I can't either!

I am happy to see how many members the group has and apologize it's been forever since anything has been posted. I'm really going to try and keep up with things better. I'll even be out there sometime tomorrow (Sun) to break a bone, or at the very least get enough air with my rc car that we break it!

The good news: Lights look alright and there are a ton of people making use of them. Bad news: They were working on getting them to shut off. I was just informed the lights will automatically shut off at 9 p.m. throughout the year.

LIGHTING UPDATE AND A BIT OF DOWN TIME TO COME

I was asked a question by Craig McMillian and am posting it, along with the answer below. Thanks Craig, and thanks Mr. Langford for the reply. I also want to say thanks to all of you for liking this page. Your check-ins, and reviews are greatly appreciated as well.

"So question about the lighting going in. Are they going to close the park during installation of the lights and last Sunday I noticed the large quarter pipe on the east side had a ground marking for the route of the conduits are they going to underground bore it or saw cut the concrete?"

"Thank you for your inquiry and continued support of the Owasso Skate park.

It is our desire to limit any down time of the park but we will have to close during the installation of the poles.

The poles will be bored to the concrete which will not take as long as saw cuts.

Now that we have all the necessary paperwork and approvals, this should be a pretty quick project.

The anticipated completion of the project is April 10th.
