Elysium Belly Dance Elysium is a state of perfect bliss - This state can be achieved through meditation, celebration, imagination and yes, through the art of belly dance!

Belly dance is a fantastic way to get fit and have fun doing so! This class will focus on the basics of belly dance, covering everything from traveling steps to isolations and muscle control. You will learn the full vocabulary of Middle Eastern Dance, with explanations, drills and exercises to help gain control and build strength, stamina and flexibilty. lly dance technique, which in turn keeps her classes fresh, upbeat, and interesting by introducing exciting new moves and cute combinations. About your Instructor:

Perizad was voted RAWartists 2012 Performance Artist of the Year, a huge honor in the arts community. She has had the opportunity to perform in both the US and Canada, and has worked as an instructor at the Belly Dance Academy of Tulsa. Perizad has been a featured dancer at Star Avenue Hookah Lounge in Tulsa and has also appeared as a guest dancer for the Aalim Belly Dance Academy in Oklahoma City. In autumn 2011, Perizad was honored to star in an opening act for the Bellydance Superstars’ Club Bellydance tour. Devoted to keeping its cultural traditions alive, Perizad continually seeks to perfect her belly dance technique. Whether at weddings, corporate events, parties, festivals or fundraisers, Perizad is sure to charm audiences of all ages.
