House of the Lost: Revived on Steam Deck - A match made in heaven.

We build House of the Lost: Revived to be a perfect fit for the Steam Deck and during Steam Next Fest you can try it out for yourself!

Here are some reasons why House of the Lost: Revived is the perfect fit for your Steam Deck.

Made for the Deck's screen: The game's widescreen layout was designed around the Deck's native
1280Ă—800 display, so it fills the screen with no black bars. The HUD sits in the corners, out of the
way of the room you're fighting in.

Full controller support, no setup: Movement, aiming, items, crafting and every menu work on the
Deck's controls straight away. On-screen prompts show controller buttons when you're using the
controller, never keyboard keys.

Smooth on the Deck: It holds a stable frame rate of around 50fps, well above Valve's 30fps
target. We're still working on improving this and hope to hit a locked 60 soon.

Bring a friend: Plug in a second controller and you're ready to challenge the House in local co-op.

Try it before you buy it: The free demo covers the house's first floor and its first boss. So now you can download it from the store page and see how it plays on your Deck.

We hope to see you in the House soon!

Today it's back, rebuilt for modern phones and tablets.

No ads, no gacha, no timers.

It's great to see that Pocket Gamer featured House of the Lost: Revived and said: "for a small premium package, it's quite compelling."

The House is almost back, pick it up for iOS and Android on July 16th!

It's time to venture into an evil residence in Mansion of the Lost as you take on the forces of evil to rescue your sister in this roguelike rerelease.

Back in 2012 we launched a little game called House of the Lost for iPad and iPhone.

It had shifting levels full of Halloween monsters, screen-filling boss battles, weapon crafting, and secrets hidden behind almost every wall.

It was one of the first roguelikes on mobile, and it proved the idea could work on a small touchscreen device. It was even called "the closest thing to iOS Spelunky" by TouchArcade, which if you were making mobile games in 2012, was about the highest compliment you could hope for.

Then, in 2019, House of the Lost disappeared

This is the story of how it broke, why we couldn't let it stay dead, and what it took to bring the House back, better than it's ever been.

House of the Lost: Revived launches July 16th for iOS and Android, and if you want all the details on how we have brought this gem back to life, hit the link.
